Color combo of the week: Aqua & Coral
My new favorite color combo of the week is aqua & coral. These colors work very well together for a beach wedding or a summer wedding. Looking at these two colors it has me dreaming of warmer weather. Soon enough I will be on my annual vacation to Clearwater, Florida to celebrate my 2 year wedding anniversary. Until then I will just keep on dreaming!

Venue of the week: Little Palm Island
One of the most fabulous destination wedding spots is Little Palm Island which is located in the Florida Keys. This resort can only be reached by boat.
The magic of this island is its exclusive location where a captivating view exists in every direction. Crushed seashell paths wind through this 5 ½ acre paradise connecting our extra spacious 30 oceanfront suites. There are no telephones or televisions, or guests under the age of 16. The only distractions are the outdoors and each other.
Talk about the perfect tropical destination for a wedding! Please see photos below along with a link to the resort. http://www.littlepalmisland.com/

Wedding color inspiration
My new favorite color of the week is vivacious. Since this week has been so cold in the Northeastern part of the USA it has got my mind buzzing for color since right now all is gray outside. I love rich jewel tones inspired by the Indian culture.

Welcome to my blog
Hello and welcome to my blog Destination Invitation! This blog is an extension of my Graphic Design business www.etsy.com/shop/destinationinvite.
Just to give you a little background about me I have been a professional Graphic Designer for 12 years now. I started my own etsy business after designing many wedding, bridal shower and other various invitations for friends and coworkers. My style tends to lean towards preppy and coastal design. In fact, I love coastal design so much that my husband and I decorated both our apartment and beach house in full coastal decor. I will be sharing some of those pictures in some of the next blog posts.
Below I have a few pictures from our beach wedding in March 2012. We had gotten married in North Redington Beach, Florida.
