Venue of the Week: Elbow Beach, Bermuda

TGIF!!! I hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend. I know I sure am!

This week's venue is a personal favorite of mine Elbow Beach, Bermuda. I was in one of my BFF's weddings at this venue and it was absolutely marvelous. Bermuda is only a 2 hour flight from most places on the east coast so it's fairly convenient to get to. But note that they do require a passport to enter the country. The only glitch of the day was the wind. So, unfortunately the venue could not set up the outdoor tent for the reception. So everything was moved indoors but that didn't bother me at all. Being that it was July 4th the weather was really hot!! And, my skin does not handle the sun very well. Enjoy the pictures below!

Bridal Shower: February 16, 2014

Hello! This past weekend I was the MOH for one of my BFF's Ali. The shower was at a friend's house in which we did all of the decorating etc. We had such a great time!! Below are some pics from the shower along with a new recipe card design I have created for my etsy store.

Venue of the week: Southern Mansion-Cape May, NJ

TGIF! And a Happy Valentine's Day to all!

This week has been quite snowy in the Philadelphia area so I wanted to bring a little sunshine and romance to all on this Valentine's Day.  Below is a beautiful and romantic venue in Cape May, New Jersey. Cape May is one of my favorite towns along the Jersey Shore.  It's a great mix of old Victorian homes with a lively beach community. It's the perfect spot for a destination wedding. 
It's also just a few hours drive from Philadelphia, New York City and Washington D.C.

TGIF!!! Hopefully everyone is looking forward to this weekend. I know that I am even though I am starting to get some cabin fever. My area where I live got hit by the ice storm pretty hard and a lot of homes and businesses are without power. Luckily, my home had kept power the whole time. But that just meant for me that I got to stay home and do some designing.

Vacation time!

In a few short weeks my husband and I will be off to sunny Florida to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. We are so excited to escape the terrible winter weather we have been having in Pennsylvania. So I have been searching for some new fabulous clothes and accessories to make my trip extra fab!

Venue of the week

The venue of the week is the Doubletree North Redington Beach, Florida. This venue is my very favorite because it is where I had gotten married at. The hotel is located about 45 minutes south of the Tampa International Airport on the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. They offer full service beach weddings for up to 100 people. Also, we had a lovely night before beach barbeque for everyone who was attending the wedding. Please check out their website for further information.
