Peter Rabbit Inspired Party Invite

A few weeks ago one of my BFF's had a lovely baby shower to celebrate her new little man entering this world. The shower theme was Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit. This theme is rapidly growing right now! The theme is great for either a baby boy or girl or a gender neutral shower.

Lilly Madness

Well I am sure you have all heard by now the madness that ensued at Target's nationwide last Sunday morning. The new Lilly Pulitzer line sold out in most stores and online in a matter of minutes. While I am kind of surprised by this, I am not completely shocked considering I have been an online Lilly shopper for a few years now and every online sale at www.lillypulitzer.com always has issues. I would have liked to have gotten something from the line but I hate black Fridayish types of sales and refuse to get up early and stand in line for anything.

Now for the Lilly brand I think this is a great Marketing strategy. A lot of people had never heard of Lilly before this. The brand awareness that was drawn from this campaign was quite brilliant. And, for someone like me who uses Lilly patterns in my invitations I now have a new audience. So hats off to Lilly Pulitzer for making such a splash with Target!

Kentucky Derby Fashion

Hi y'all!!! Hope everyone has been enjoying the lovely spring weather we have been having. Doesn't this weather just make you want to wear a pretty floral dress? It certainly does for me!

Below I have some lovely fashions inspired by the Kentucky Derby. These styles can be used if you are going to church or to a Derby party. While I do love a good fascinator myself, it is not always the most practical or affordable. Check out some inspiration below!

Look book: Lilly for Target

So at this point everyone knows that Lilly will be selling a line thorough Target. Some love this idea, some hate this idea. From a Marketing standpoint I think it makes total sense for Lilly to be doing this. It broadens their audience to those who may not be able to afford Lilly Pulitzer.
