The sprinkle is where friends & family gather together to "sprinkle" the new Mom with some baby essentials that she may no longer have. Lilly Warehouse Sale

Hello all! I have been away from blogging for a few weeks but now I am back. I took a much needed vacation to the beach. Now that I am back to working and running my Etsy business my plate is quite full, but I still planned on going to the Lilly Warehouse Sale. I live very close to where this sale is taking place that I figured I would be able to go after work one night. Well that is a no go! Apparently, last night people were still in line and the doors were shut before closing time to restock. Many people were outraged. So I have decided to not attend. I would rather pay full price than wait in line for hours. That is just my prerogative though.

Summer Wedding Color Trend: Papaya & Olive

Hello all! I hope you all have been enjoying the fabulous weather we are having. I know I have!
Before we know it summer wedding season will be here. One of my favorite color trends this summer for weddings is papaya & olive. Now there are many versions of the papaya color that I have been seeing out there. Some borderline a bright pink and others go towards an orange coloring. Both colors look fab to me!

Wedding Venue: The Reeds at Shelter Haven

Hello all! I hope everyone has been enjoying the spring temps or more like summer temps. But no complaints from me especially after this past winter. With the lovely weather we have been having, I have been spending much of my free time at the Jersey Shore.

One of my new favorite venues at the shore is the Reeds at Shelter Haven. This beautiful place was built just a few years ago and sits on the bay at Stone Harbor. What a gorgeous place to have a wedding! The Reeds features an open air concept ballroom and a modern outdoor lounge with an outdoor deck. You could choose to get married at the Reeds overlooking the bay or have your wedding on the beach with a reception at the Reeds. I love the choices that this place gives.

Peter Rabbit Inspired Party Invite

A few weeks ago one of my BFF's had a lovely baby shower to celebrate her new little man entering this world. The shower theme was Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit. This theme is rapidly growing right now! The theme is great for either a baby boy or girl or a gender neutral shower.

One of my other friends is having the same theme for her friend's shower and asked me to design the invite. Check out my design below! It's now available for purchase at my etsy shop.

Lilly Madness

Well I am sure you have all heard by now the madness that ensued at Target's nationwide last Sunday morning. The new Lilly Pulitzer line sold out in most stores and online in a matter of minutes. While I am kind of surprised by this, I am not completely shocked considering I have been an online Lilly shopper for a few years now and every online sale at www.lillypulitzer.com always has issues. I would have liked to have gotten something from the line but I hate black Fridayish types of sales and refuse to get up early and stand in line for anything.

Now for the Lilly brand I think this is a great Marketing strategy. A lot of people had never heard of Lilly before this. The brand awareness that was drawn from this campaign was quite brilliant. And, for someone like me who uses Lilly patterns in my invitations I now have a new audience. So hats off to Lilly Pulitzer for making such a splash with Target!
